We are pleased to announce that our scholarship recipient in 2008 is Mr. Ravi Shah. Ravi finished number 1 in the 2008 senior class at Holmen High finishing with a grade point of 4.324 on a 4.33 scale. He was a natoinal merit finalist, president of the student council, winner of the principal's leadership award. Also he found time to be the president of the national honor society at HHS and an outstanding member of the band. Ravi is currently attending Penn state as part of the Schreyer Honors College. He is pursuing a degree in physics and is a member of the marching band. Congratulations to Ravi.
We are pleased to announce that our scholarship recipient in 2009 is Miss Laura Gregor. Laura was in the student council and served as the Vice President of Community Service. She taught Sunday school for 3 years and served at Saint Elizabeth's church for 2 years as well as being the student correspondent for the quarterly newletter there. She is described as "the best kind of leader, one who leads by example. She is humble, never drawing attention to own strengths and accomplishments. She is polite, honest and kind to everyone she meets." Laura will be attending the University of Wisconsin pursueing a degree in pre-med. She hopes to help people llke her cousin who died of brain tumor.

We are pleased to announce that our music scholarship winner in 2008 is Miss Meghan Rinehart. Meghan was a member of the choir and band for 4 years. She was also in the vocal jazz ensemble, show choir, jazz band, pep band, show band, brass choir and a delegate for the All state junior band. She was active in theater as well. She is currently attending Viterbo University pursuing a degree in vocal performance.
We are pleased to announce that our music scholarship winner for 2009 is Mr. Mark Trautman. Mark was a member of the band and choir for 4 years. He was also a member of the show choir, jazz band, and vocal jazz ensemble and participated in the WSMA States honor band. Mark was also very active in theater and many other activiites in school and his community. He will be attending Southern Methodist University.

We are pleased to announce that Miss Christina Debooer was the sportsmanship recipient for 2009. Christina has been very active in the golf community participating in many local and state wide events. She was first team all conference for 4 years and the 2008 player of the year. She will be attending the University of Wisconsin Green Bay whre she will be playing golf and pursuing degrees in biology and business management.
